Deluxe 4pc Pirate Captain Costume

LOVE this coat. Got so many compliments on at it the Renaissance fair I bought it for. People kept stopping me to take photos. It's well made and flows wonderfully when you walk. Size 10 on average, ordered a large, glad I did. It's fits just fine with no sleeves, but would be an issue otherwise. It does wrinkle very easily - I'd recommend ironing inside out.I wish the belt was removable or slightly less cheap looking, but works great with other accessories so isn't a huge deal. I didn't wear the hat. Couldn't get the sword to lie flat despite many a heavy book and bending it in the other direction, but it was fine for what I needed. The 'dress' it comes with is a joke. cut it up and used it to mimic the sleeves on my boots.

This costume is absolutely gorgeous!!! Very well made, perfect measurements and great length. Great material as well. I am 5'5" and I weigh 135lbs with a 36 B bra size and the medium fits perfectly. The dress does not ride up not is it thin or cheesy. It's a gauze material and is the perfect length. The sword was in great condition as well. My only very minor problem was the hat, the hat wasn't very deep and couldn't fit on my head even without the wig.However, the rest of this costume is beautiful!!

Like the style but definitely order a size bigger. I am a true small and should have gotten a medium… coat is tight in the bodice and arms, dress is quite see thru and flimsy and hat barely fits on my head… in all honesty, not worth the price but I need it for an event and that’s the only reason I’m keeping it

Fit a little tight in the arms but was still comfortable enough to wear. Overall it was nice outfit

White dress is awful but jacket was awesome

I’m 5’3.5” and decided to send it back because it was so long. Probably be fine with some tall heels but I didn’t want to be uncomfortable all night in them.

This costume is awesome! I bought it mainly for the cape, belt and sword. The hat was smooshed in the packaging so I have to do a little work on it to straighten it out and I am not a fan of the dress. It is very see-through. The cape was actually missing buttons on the lapel and I was immediately send a new cape. I'm happy with the costume and cannot wait to wear it all together!

Arrived earlier than expected. Pretty nice quality, if a bit pricey for what it is. I am satisfied with costume, although the hat is a little smashed up from shipping and ill have to find a way to straighten it out before wearing it!

top was pretty cheap loking and the material was not very nice

Love this costume. I am a large usually... ordered the XL... and it's not even close to fitting. Wish it did.

I knew when purchasing this that I only wanted the jacket and sword. The jacket is very well made and was worth the price by itself to me. As noted in previous reviews the hat does come flattened out and the material would likely make it difficult to shape well. The "dress" is laughable. It is best described as a piece of gauze that has no chance of covering anyone with anything bigger than a small B cup.

I like it , the dress is a bit see through but I can work with it.

The zipper was broke an so was the sword but my money was returned with no problem thank you

Great pirate costume - got a lot of complements on it. I didn't wear it w/the dress that came with it, i really just wanted the coat, but the hat matched well too - I wore black leggings and knee high boots.

I ordered this but have to return it, I love the quality of the jacket but the fit is too small :( I wouldn't recommend wearing the gauzy dress that comes with it, I planned to wear something else if I kept it I like the belt that came with it and the sword was nice, that has was good quality but shape was a bit weird, I recommend this if you want a very nice quality jacket and accessories but invest in another dress and order a size larger than normal ;)

As one other reviewer posted, I bought an X-LG as I am 5'5" and 160 lbs. She was right, it fits perfectly. Had I bought my usual size of Lg, it wouldn't have fit, and I would have been very disappointed.As it is, I'm very pleased. So the bad news, that frilly little white sheath dress might as well be a place mat. It didn't even fit passed my hips. But I knew that when I bought it thanks to other reviews, and I was prepared to just chuck that out. Aside from that, it's perfect. The hat is squished, like another reviewer said, but seeing as it was shipped from China, I didn't expect it to be ready to wear. That's super unrealistic. With some ironing, and some love, I know it'll look amazing. The belt didn't have the right holes for my waist size, but that's an easy fix. Using a nail and a hammer like you do on most other belts, I added a new one. The material is so nice and thick, it's going to be perfect for my Pirate themed party on my rooftop. My sword was perfect. It wasn't bent like others' were, and is the exact one in the picture.Overall, this is a totally awesome outfit, and worth every dime I spent on it. I'm going to be the Dastardly Pirate Captain Hostess there ever werrrrrrr. Aye! lol

shirt/skirt is thin, but can be fixed by wearing a tank and a skinny black skirt or shorts under. Love it.

The coat was perfect and I do recommend it.The "dress", however, was COMPLETELY see through and shaped as if the person wearing it was an upside down triangle...seriously NOTHING like the picture shown.I ended up wearing the coat with pants and a shirt...and I do NOT recommend the dress portion of this costume.

Jacket was too snug in the chest. Good jacket design. The white underdress was way too sheer for modest comfort. Hat was pretty flat, but cold pop cans in the brim overnight reshaped it pretty well.

The costume fits ok overall but the dress is definitely small. It's also thinner than cheese cloth so it's not all that appropriate for wear in public. That piece really doesn't look like the photos at all. The jacket is pretty decent though. I'm 5'5" and it drags a little but wouldn't with heals. The hat did come squished as others mention, but seems like it could be straightened with a little work. It's rare to have a costume come with so many accessories, so it makes dealing with the dress piece less of a bother.
